My approach is to help illuminate the uniqueness of the actor. Give them some techniques that will help them harness the power of their uniqueness and have fun while performing, whether it be for a class or for an audition. I help actors create a history for their character that organically comes from the actor themselves. I remind them that their personal stories, hurts, loves, successes, failures are all essential tools nourish the role they are playing. I specialize in Shakespeare and Musical Theatre acting, but I have a deep love for new works and other contemporary playwrights. When working with me, you will discover the character, discover techniques that will set you apart from other actors auditioning, and discover YOURSELF as an artist and human being.
